rectangle area ( L ) = l x w
ratio = 9 : 4
Perimeter = 104 cm
l=9x
w= 4x 
perimeter = 2l+2w
                =9x+9x+4x+4x
                =26x
             26x = 104
                 x =104/26
                    = 4
l=9x =9*4 = 36 cm
w=4x=4*4 = 16 cm

Area ( L ) =l x w
                = 36 cm x 16 cm
                = 576 cm²
